You may use the Website and Services only for professional and lawful purposes.

  • You may link to MCE website content and MCE Member’s online profile on any publicly accessible website. You agree to remove any link to or content from an MCE Member’s online profile on request.
  • If you link to content or information from casting/job listing details from MCE on any publicly accessible website you agree to remove any link on request.
  • Please do not (nor facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or create derivative works of our Website, Website Content (and associated ideas and information), any website, database or publication, without our prior written permission or where permission is provided on the Website to download such Website Content.
  • Please don’t behave in any manner that is defamatory or offensive.
  • Please do not engage in any other activity deemed by us (in our sole discretion) to be in competition with or in conflict with the spirit or intent of Services and the requirements of these Terms.

We reserve the right to take appropriate action to respond to or prevent any contravention of the above and or any other contravention of the Terms.

The Members Area, Services and the Website Content (which includes content that is supplied to us by third parties either directly or indirectly) are provided on an “as is” and we make no warranties, guarantees or representations of that content.

Your access to the Website, Services and Website Content may be suspended or restricted to allow for maintenance and upgrades sometimes without notice but we will endeavor to announce when major work is being carried out.

Use of the Motion Capture Europe (MCE) Logo

MCE Members and subscribers may use the MCE logo on their own website provided that:

  • It is a single instance of the MCE logo as a link to our Website;
  • It is in the context of a factual reference to the role of MCE; and
  • The use or positioning of the logo, its name or brand should not imply MCE’s endorsement of any website, product, company, or online service.

Limitation of Liability

Without limitation to the foregoing, neither we nor any of our group/affiliate companies will be liable to you for any loss or damage arising under or in connection with:

  • Use of, or inability to use, the Website or Services;
  • Use of or reliance on any content displayed on the Website or information provided via the Services;

We take all reasonable precautions to keep website interactions secure. We also have strict security procedures regarding the storage and disclosure of information. However, neither we nor our group companies/affiliates can be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to the information provided by you.

The security of information transmitted via the internet cannot be guaranteed. Any losses incurred or sustained by users who transmit information by means of email or other internet link shall be borne solely and exclusively by such user and in no event shall any such losses in whole or part be borne by Motion Capture Europe (MCE).

Status and Role of Motion Capture Europe (MCE)

MCE is not an employment agency, and we never take commission on work opportunities found for or by its MCE Members. We do not become involved in the casting process and cannot act on your behalf in any work-related negotiations; we will only pass on messages from potential employers. We do not have access to any arrangements between worker and hirer relating to meeting or working venues and other terms of employment; therefore, MCE Members and/or their representatives should use due diligence in reviewing their safety arrangements and the terms of any contract supplied by a hirer. We will not accept fees for work on behalf of any Member; all payments for work must be arranged between the worker and the hirer, or their official representative.

MCE cannot guarantee you work, and your membership does not constitute an offer of jobs to you and is not part of the MCE Member Services. The decision to offer you work rests with the hirers using our Website and Services, and is impacted by a number of industry factors. We have no involvement or influence in these decisions.

We may receive affiliate commissions from studios, equipment/software providers and advertisers.
